TellSimply creates impact-driven visuals for Irish businesses, policy institutions, and researchers.

Drawing attention to your work

Whether it’s a policy report, a book, or a data‑heavy article, I make sure your work isn’t just seen — it’s understood. I bridge technical expertise and visual storytelling to turn complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

A well‑placed illustration reduces cognitive load, helps readers grasp complex methods and findings faster, and makes key points easier to remember. I create editorial‑style drawings for reports and keynotes that highlight the argument, structure evidence, and guide the reader’s attention.

As experts, we can struggle to communicate our work to the people who need to hear it the most. I run practical, tailored workshops that give your team the structure and tools to present ideas visually and effectively.

I work with:

“We were very impressed with the work Ashleigh did for us in creating excellent and engaging cartoons for placement at the beginning of one of our bestselling Economics books.”

Ruth Noble, Editor | Economics, Palgrave Macmillan

Hi, I'm Ashleigh

  • Academic grounding. With a PhD in Finance and a Law degree, I'm comfortable across a wide range of complex topics, from econometrics and policy papers to data-centric reports.

  • Central Bank experience. As a former senior economist, I understand the nuance and rigour required for high-level institutional work. I've spent years writing and communicating the kind of research I now illustrate.

  • Published work. I take a collaborative approach to every project; my illustrations span many disciplines and include work published by Routledge and Palgrave Macmillan.

And I have a very unusual background for an illustrator, one that sits right between research and design.
