Research in Focus: Systemic Risk & Macroprudential Policy

A series of illustrations developed to support my own research, including work published in the International Review of Economics & Finance (2024). These visuals are designed to anchor key arguments and provide a clear entry point for participants during conferences. Beyond the journal and podium, these drawings serve as essential tools for digital engagement—helping to connect with others in the field across online platforms.

Structural Iconography & Report Navigation

I designed a unified iconography suite for visual chapter summaries to map complex themes throughout the report. By providing a consistent visual language across print and digital media, these assets simplify navigation and improve clarity of communication of this flagship report.
Conceptual Diagrams & Book Illustrations

Conceptual illustartions and theoretical diagrams were created for books Pathways to Community Engagement (2025), Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Indie Video Game Industry (2025), and Restorative Justice in the Classroom (2022), providing a visual lens to navigate and interpret complex subject matter.
Book Cover Artwork

This continuous line art was commissioned for the book cover of Musicians in Crisis: Working and Playing in the Greek Popular Music Industry (Routledge, 2020). The single-line technique was chosen to mirror the interconnected, yet precarious, lives of performers during the Greek financial crisis.

Project Identity and the Media

Commissioned to create the visual for a funded historic research project, Bad Bridget. This drawing served as an identifier for the study, appearing in national newspaper coverage and social media. The work was designed to provide a "face" to the women under discussion, translating academic archival research into a powerful public image.
Visualising Colonial History: The Ayah Project

Working with historian Dr Arunima Datta, I create hand-drawn illustrations and animations documenting the history of Indian Travelling Ayahs in Britain. Since archival records of "ayahs" (nanny servants) often lack imagery, my work fills these gaps by hand-drawing their stories for presentations in the UK and the US. These visuals aid Dr Datta's important work of restoring agency to marginalised historical narratives.
Art Exhibitions 2025: Listowel in Watercolour and Ink

Following years of living abroad, I created a series of paintings to capture the charm of my hometown, Listowel. The project featured an exhibition at St. John’s Theatre & Arts Centre and local media coverage. The exhibition led to several local commissions, including a study of the Dandy Lodge and the Pitch and Putt course. My work is now displayed in various businesses across the town, with a full print collection featured in a local cafe. I also regularly donate pieces to local fundraisers to help support community causes.
